For sewing you need a good iron, and just as important is the ironing board! 

I have a lovley old wooden board i've had for years, and to top it off

i just got a new fabulous cover for it.

My old one was from Interface too, and i had it for over 10 years.

It could have kept going but i felt like a change, something to jazz up the studio.

My five year old daughter is vying for my attention

over the ever present laptop and sewing machine.

Maiden Voyage into Winterland with Finders Keepers

Wow, i'm going to be part of the Winterland festival at Carriage Works! 

Come visit to see one of a kind quilts for pram and cot & great new lampshades - hand stitched.

Can't wait, what an extravaganza it's going to be; with everything to celebrate like

the european winter - ice skating, alpine cuisine, great market stalls with cool design,

live music and karaoke. 

I'll be there 29, 30 & 31 July

It goes for a month too, each thurs & fri 6pm to 10.30pm, sat 11am to 10.30pm
