Caring for Textiles

Thingk Baby products are made with quality fabrics, style, care and love. Made to last and be handed down or hung onto for years to come. So caring for your cushion and quilt will help them last the distance. All Thingk Baby products have a care label attached, but I thought I'd include some care instructions here for future reference -

Caring for your Cushion
(cotton, cotton/hemp & cotton/linen fabric with quilted bamboo wadding)
Cold water, gentle wash cover with mild detergent
& line dry.
Insert can be hand washed, squeeze excess water & line dry

Caring for your Quilt
(cotton fabric with bamboo wadding)
Cold water, gentle machine wash with mild detergent &
line dry.

Drying in shade will preserve colours.
Warm iron if needed.

New Cushion Designs For The Nature Lover!

Just got in a few meters of this beautiful cotton/linen fabric from local designer Kristen Doran, loving the humming birds and little rabbits.

The peacock garden cotton/linen also makes up a great new cushion, and really fun to quilt with hand embroidery detailing; my favourite bit of the cushion making process. There is a layer of soft organic bamboo wadding quilted in every cushion which creates an extra soft place to rest your weary bones.

Boys in Blue

The blue robots are here, and in limited supply for now. So check out my next market so you don't miss out! My daughter has her eye on these if they don't go soon.

thingk baby on Flickr

How did i ever live without flickr? Now that i've finally got my flickr account up and running, i just love it. I'm going to attempt to snap a shot of everything i make and new and exciting fabric as it comes in. Fun to keep a record of things, and if you see something you like - let me know and you can buy it!
